end of the world [dream]
This morning I dreamt that the end of the world was coming. In my dream, I still knew that it was January and that December was still a long time away. I was at a bookstore and there was an old guy there as well. He picked out a book from the shelf and started reading. He said “The world will end when the circle breaks.” But then he said that “All will pass as they stay together.”
There was more but unrelated. How unsettling to wake up to this in the morning, but at the same time, hopeful. I don’t really believe that this year will be the end of the world, but I guess I do have a small underlying fear of it in my subconscious. Ever since I read from Sean-Paul’s post that we dream in a panicked state, I’ve been noticing it more and more now when I try to remember my dreams.
