Studygasm won an honorable mention for branding at Startup Weekend SLO! So glad I decided to sign up for it. It’s definitely been really awesome. Some of the valuable things that I’m taking away from this weekend: It CAN be done! It’s great to have ideas but you won’t go anywhere if you don’t take the initiative. Group dynamics definitely play a big part in your success. I was lucky enough to be in a great group, nicely divided and played on our strengths. Keeping a positive attitude goes a long way too. I went into this weekend not knowing what to expect and started to get scared when I felt like I couldn’t contribute to the group. But I just kept thinking that I’ll just do this for fun, why not? We ended up with a pretty good product by the end of the weekend! Keep checking! We’re planning on continuing to work on it part time. :D My weekend workspace!Startup Weekend is almost over and I’m almost sad to see it go by.
